January 5, 2011:
Porcine Associates finds a problem with the naming of recipes and folders in the Dynaview III and Dynaview IIc.
This problem affects all Dynaview III and Dynaview IIc with a revision less than 2.15.
Description:
If a recipe name or recipe description includes a comma, the recipe file system can become corrupted. Symptions are that when a recipe is loaded the results are unpredictable and/or the recipe selection screens do not show correctly. Once corrupted it becomes difficult to save any recipe.
Work-around:
Do not use a comma (“,”) or a period (“.”) in recipe and folder names and descriptions.
Fix:
Contact Porcine Associates for a permanent fix.
