We’ve added an OPC UA server to the Dynaview. OPC UA is a factory automation protocol supported by many PLCs and other automation systems. Now you have a choice of Modbus TCP or OPC UA as the communication protocol to use with a Dynaview. If you are not familiar with OPC UA, Wikipedia has a pretty good article on it.
We’ve exposed two assemblies in the OPC UA server: Real-time, and Recipe. The names say it all, the real-time assembly includes all the sensed data: repeat length, web speed, etc. The recipe assembly includes all the parameters of the recipe in use. So far, all data is read-only.
